NIDO
Nido, italian for “nest”, is an ongoing project born from one of the scenes of a movie called “Gospod postoi, imeto i' e Petrunija” (God exists and her name is Petrunya). It is basically built on the idea that the bed and the sheets are the most intimate and safe place where anyone can hide and stay, express and feel at home. The restricted space it creates frames bodies and creates sudden intimacy between the people it guards. As a photographer i always look for places to be closer with the subjects and this incredible situation, so daily and so precious, gave me the chance to break down and overgrow the physical distances people usually built around them. We are together in the nest, we touch, we interact, we show and hide.
